Ursala, Anceps hybrid is all I could hunt down as far as a name on that beauty.
The big purple gets called a vanda, but you are correct that is a cattleya. As of now , the line up is orange, red, brownish/red, yellow and this purple.
Had given up on orchids a few years back, they where a bit needy.. Hilarious! Never had many blooms while they where in baskets but growing onto palm trees themselves has made a huge difference so I'm starting to fall in love again. A new plant store down from my work has a sign that says "orchids 5.99".. I'm going to go down and see what kind of trouble I can find. Angel
