This morning I have a lovely "Breakfast Bouquet". last night at about 6:30 pm I picked the scapes with slightly open buds, rather than fully opened. And this morning they are all bright eyed and cheery!

Mount Zion
Driven Snow
Hyperion
and a few more that are nameless at present. Now I'm going to look these up and see if they are diurnal or nocturnal. Guess they would all be considered "early morning openers"?
