It is Neptune. I found another rose in my garden that blooms exactly the same way, and that one does have a tag saying Neptune.
This one would have come from a local nursery that carried all of the Star and Weeks' lines. Sadly, that nursery closed, but not before I bought at least one of everything she carried.
Palatine carried Poseidon, which I bought and planted next to to the tagless Neptune. It died, and i want another one, but I'm holding off on new roses until somebody finds a cure for Rose Rosette disease. Every week, I've had to remove another 3 roses.
The devil on my left shoulder is telling me to check to see what Palatine is offering this fall, to get my order ready, and the good girl on the other shoulder is saying, no, don't do it, you're just in for more heartbreak.
So who do i listen to?
Shrug!
Oh...by the way...that new lavender rose, ' Love Song', is blooming like crazy. Two thumbs up on it! Thumbs up i have two of them, and both are disease-free, and we have had rain at night for 17 days this month!
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
