Yes, that night scent is typical!
Neofinetia falcata smells so good in the evening and I can still catch the wonderful scent on early mornings. Many times I will bring a plant in bloom inside in the evening and plop it next to me to smell it. I love it, it is definitely part of their charm.

I don't even want to think about Fall yet...but the greenhouse has been "spit-polished" on the inside and is ready to be filled up again, somewhere during the month of September.
