Celeste--Lankon should be perfectly hardy in your zone. Maybe you had a bad bulb--I'd try another. Maybe ask for replacement. hint, hint.
Moby--six feet is pretty tall. I assume you staked it for safety and wind protection, but, would you say this cultivar requires staking?
Anthony--if it multiplies like you say, then I'll bet it's an easy cloner too.
