Hi Anne,

In this case, since you grew it from seed, it can't be any named cultivar...unless you decide to name it yourself. Named cultivars are propagated asexually, usually by cuttings in the case of Duranta. Given the coloration of your plant, it seems likely that the parent plant could have been an 'Alba' that got pollinated by a purple-flowered plant or, alternatively, that it was self-pollinated and is just showing genes from one of Alba's ancestors. However, if white flowers are a recessive gene in Duranta, then the second scenario would be less likely. Regardless, it turned out to be a really beautiful color! Big Grin
