How do you tell if a turnip is ready for pulling? I have two big ones already but not sure if I am supposed to wait till they get even bigger. Going by grocery store size is no help either as I have bought turnips in various sizes.
Was looking at my late planted or second season cucumbers and they are just loaded with smaller cucumbers. Of course getting bigger ever day. Most of these are not trellis, which is unusual for me. well, about 40% trellised the rest left to sprawl on the ground.
