This is doing really well in the ground here, it is near a pond and gets watered frequently. There is less than a foot of dirt in that area but it doesn't seem to mind. The clump has expanded a lot and when one of the "cigars" broke off I laid it on the ground and it is growing a new shoot.
A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
