Thanks you two for the willingness to investigate.
I like the arachs and love the fuzzy and ciliated, but hate putting the time in to care for them and not have them thrive. I just may not have the right conditions for them. My DH mentioned that my semp bed may be affected by the sun and heat reflected off the guest windows onto some white tile and the semp bed. This may account for a bunch of my semps getting fried early this summer. I had to resort to shade cloth to cover entire bed in PM sun of 4 hours duration.
