Well, I didn't make it back to respond last Sunday, but I am here responding on a new Sunday. Hilarious!
*HAPPY CHURCH DAY U'LL* Smiling
Our 10 yr old G'son was w/ us last weekend and since it was his last week of summer vacay he begged to stay longer and you know if you are a G'ma you just can't say no.... right? Whistling

So... here are the fotos I wanted to share w/ you all.

This is the one I ended up killing during the winter (or perhaps last summer AND fall) and it didn't come up this spring as it's roots and stems rotted.
I know this for a fact because I dissected the soil looking for any form of root life before I threw it away. Sad
I did however have 1 full fall and 1 full summer w/ the lil' bugger.
It was a baby w/ 1 stem and a flower on it when it was given to me.
I can tell just by what's been shared w/ me by you folks that this poor lil' guy/gal looks like I prbly over watered it because it's leaves are too yellow, right?

Here's a close up of the 3 I kept, the buds are starting to color up.
I am so proud of these even though I didn't do much w/ them besides stick them in the containers, check on them a gazillion times a day AND, for once I actually DID NOT over water them. Thumbs up

These are the 2 Autumn Fire's that I got for a song and a dance @ Shopko.
Ok, ok, I really meant for a steal because I can't carry a tune in a bucket and I can't dance either. Rolling on the floor laughing
We shall see if they are indeed Autumn Fire or if someone put the wrong maker tag in the pot because only one of them was officially tagged when I looked @ them @ the store.

All 5 of them together along w/ the lil' dragonfly visitor on top of the lil' one in the middle.

Now hopefully they will all survive until I get them transplanted AFTER the flower stompers come and replace the roof.
And ValleyLynn, you will perhaps be dealing w/ the flower crushers before I will. Sad

Wishing all of you a great-safe holiday weekend. Group hug
Shaw
