Jan: Is 'Old Termite' a brown(milk chocolate) colored daylly?

Tonight's temps will fall into the mid 30's. Those daylily's still blooming in the garden, better get out there earmuffs tonight!! There going to need it. These cold nights often occur several times in September. Warmer days will return next week. If the daytime temps reach 60 tomorrow, I will be surprised. Burr. I'm never ready for the big chill.

Today, I bid a fond farewell to two of my favorite redheads. And what a display they put on for me today. I will miss there beautiful faces greeting me each day, while adding so much color to my garden. Last blooms for:

WATERMELON MARTINI - TWINS

BARBARA MANDRELL - Every now and then you get a daylily that exceeds your expectations. Barbara has done that very thing for me.

(Picture taken last weekend)

And a complete surprise was to see this daylily on a single rebloom beaming in the sunlight this afternoon. Ivan looks a little chilly but beautiful nonetheless.

CRAZY IVAN
