I remember growing strawflowers and having buckets of the dried blossoms hold their color literally all winter. I filled one of those metal chicken baskets with them for a bright pop. Curly willow twigs also add interest to dried arrangements - you don't have to worry about them rooting if they aren't sitting in water.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
