Nice info, dave! I hope to have my own chickens someday...just need a good coop! Our own drought started in 2006, been a long, long time interrupted occasionally by some periods of time when rain returns, but it never lasts long enough. Trying to keep some plants alive outside my fence by infrequent waterings.There USED to be a lake about 12 miles from us.
