If it is in the daylily waiting for the right conditions, then is there anything you can do to kill it before it gets crazy? Can I dig them up and soak them? I am getting ready to do a large planting and I am thinking I might trim them down and dip them before I plant them? Would that help? and the others cut off the foliage completely and spray them, like you said.
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29
