I would miss fall colors too, if I ever had to leave them. I think that's why we have black and white and brown winters, just so we enjoy the colors of all the other seasons more.

I see seasons as colors:
Spring - pastels like pale lavender and pinks and mauves, mint greens
Summer - brights - all the reds and oranges, deep purples and bright blues, and gorgeous emerald greens
Fall - crazy colors, burgundy and rust, orange and gold, chocolate brown and darkest forest green

And then there's winter, with it's stark black and white and gray and brown, and with a dark red berry here and there - framed by blackish green evergreens like magnolias and cedar trees.

Seems like everything in my world has to do with color, Gin. I would miss all the changes if I ever left this area.
