If I remember right sunrise is a cultivar of refenscens....
There's several forms if that species, ranging from dark purple all over to plain green.
Sunrise is the pink form, usually pink on the underside and green on top.
A grittier mix and more sun would most likely return your plant to a more vibrant color.
