Wow, I had futzed a little with the screen resolution on my monitor, but didn't go down that low, and hadn't realized the real impact! It really sends home Dave's advice to "Keep in mind also that the logo only covers the first little bit of the banner. So the interesting part of the banner should start pretty quick."

It's fortuitous that I happened to pose this question today. For easily comparing how a banner looks on different screen resolutions, today's banner is very useful. Though I love tree bark, that one would have been a terrible exemplification.

To find what resolution your screen is, right click on the desktop background and choose "screen resolution", "active desktop", "customize desktop", "properties", "settings" or similar wording.
