Making soup today in the crock-pot using Bob's Red Mill Veggie Soup base as the starter. It is a dry mix and you add your own seasonings. Makes a really nice rich hearty soup.
I am not the world' s best cook.
In fact I am not a very good cook at all.
But since getting my crockpot I find that I can make lots more good tasting meals that are easy to do. Love that crockpot.
I have to get to pulling the last of the backyard cucumber vines. They sure did last long as these are the burpless cucumbers I bought and planted as seedlings early May. They are done now but geez, it is October already so no complaints from me about the cukes. Great year for cucumbers here in my garden.
