Thank-you, Betty. I have lived in Vermont for 47 yrs., and never ever get tired of the change of the leaves. It is a kaleidoscope of enormous beauty. Those bright orange leaves are from the Sugar Maples. The same trees are tapped in the early Spring for their sap which is then boiled down to produce Maple Syrup. It takes 40 gallons of sap to make just 1 gallon of syrup. It really is nectar of the gods...yum, and full of natural B vitamins!
