Well I'm sure the 9" purple cobweb is in that next batch of seedlings........ Maybe if I live to 85 I'll be able to get it. Actually I've been surprised what i have been able to accomplish in these first few seedling crops here in Oregon. Of course finding 'Killer' such an interesting parent has definitely helped in that cause. All but one of my new introductions utilize it or 'Jungle Shadows' or both.

Of course what we see in irises, daylilies, and daffodil flowers were things that we never DREAMED would occur. I think we have the same potential for new incredible plants. Compared to the hundreds of breeders in other genera we're dealing with a handful.
