Good luck, Anne. Hope the surgery is a big success. My mother held out a long time, then finally had her cataracts done, and was amAZED!! at what she could then see. She also had a tiny lens implant so she could see a lot of stuff without her glasses, and she had been wearing glasses for nearly 70 years.

Rhamel if you're still looking, the mealybugs are quite hard to get rid of, but if you keep some rubbing alcohol and q-tips near the plant and just swipe the mealybugs off it as you see them, that will keep them under control and they won't damage the plant hardly at all. Hope your mandevilla makes it through the winter for you.
