LOL, that's too funny about the chickens! Well, I guess I wouldn't be laughing if... I used to raise chickens too, but rarely had them out in the open where they could reach the garden.

Charleen, your Amaryllis are wonderful! Is that Black and Blue Salvia by the red one? I've had B&B Salvia survive the winters here as a perennial for about 6 years now.
