My family and I own about four acres in western PA along the Allegheny River. A section of that property used to be a daylily farm waaaay back in the 60's and before. Every year I bring a few daylilies back with me and transplant them to WI. Granted, some are probably hybrids that have been fertilized by insects over the years, but some of them used to be named hybrids - but I haven't a clue what they truly are.

No matter, they are pretty anyways.

I also have some seedlings that I am enjoying. Yes, I will register one, but the rest? probably not.

It is great fun though!

Yellow dip from PA, transplanted to WI in 2012. I call this "Cottage12 - 1"
