A. curassavica, A. texana (Texas or White Milkweed), Funastrum cynanchoides (Climbing Milkweed) and A. asperula (Antelope Horns) are the milkweed that I grow. I had some Queen butterflies lay eggs on the milkweed this year, some caterpillars even survived to become butterflies. One Monarch caterpillar raised this fall, just pupated today...that will be all for the year, unless more Monarchs come along that want to lay eggs. I had a nice time this week when I went to the dam area and saw the Monarchs on the move there.
