I would think they might behave like the hardy perennials do down here.

We have things like salvias that bloom nearly year 'round here, and people say "well, yes they're perennial but mine only last 3 years". Of course it's because in a 'normal' garden where they bloom for 3 or 4 months at most then die back and get a full winter's dormancy they probably last 10 years, but down here they get 3 years' growing time each year.

Ursula's pampered guest is already making babies, or ? offsets? So it seems to be a really adaptable hardy orchid. Loving life in the tropics!
