The only thing that might dig them up here are squirrels. Usually they don't bother my bulbs. Last fall they did dig up some crocus in my southside rose garden. This year I immediately mulched so that they didn't realized that the ground was planted in. Hopefully they don't catch on that that slope is planted in bulbs. So far they have not bothered any of my crocus that I have been planting in trenches around my veggie garden beds. The deep stuff, like tulips is always fine.
