I agree with Elaine about the whole subject of grass. Thumbs up

Gosh, when we re-did our yard down south to not a single blade of grass & the whole place was xeri ~~~~ it was amazing! Not only did we have so much more time to do things we wanted to do, but we got rid of the mower, edger & so forth. No gas to buy to run the mower, no air OR noise pollution from those things, no more poison, no more fertilizing & we had a lot more room as well b/c we didn't have to store all those items.

If I could change over this 6 acres; I would do it in a heartbeat! But it's getting no fertilizer, poison (except for Amdro for the fire ants), we aren't watering it (the grass/weeds), no weedeating it & we mow as seldom as possible. Sometimes dh just mows select pathways for us to walk rather than the whole place.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
