I'm on Team Gloves, specifically the Atlas nitriles that Critter mentioned above. When they go on sale at my local feed store, I buy a whole rainbow of them (except pink) to last through the season. I've tried several knock-off brands, but they are either thinner and/or don't fit as well. For winter, I use the thermal style of Atlas (boring gray but warm). Very recently, my feed store began carrying Wonder Grips 510 (only in orange so far) which are a bit heavier than Atlas but not as thick as the winter thermals. These are great for spring and fall when I'm doing a lot of serious in-ground digging. Nothing starts a project out better than a fresh pair of gloves.

I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
