Hello Kate Welcome! To me your plant looks like some type of Echeveria..though it does seem to have jade-like leaves but the leaves seems more plump, so maybe echeveria or a pachyveria. So whichever type it is, I will care for that plant by making sure it does not sit in water & less watering especially during the cold months, south/east/west facing window for warmth. Your plant looks okay to me, you can also add some more perlite or pumice to make the soil more open and fast draining too.
