Bummer! Is it possible to sew the two pieces together?

To keep ours from lifting in the wind, we used batten tape and fastened it to the ground with tent stakes. You could screw the batten tape into the fence or the PVC pipe.

Austin was hit hard by that same storm about 11PM last night. We had lots of drizzle during the day, but it rained steadily nearly all night. They called it training. Storms kept coming in a line, just like last week. Water rescues and road closures, all night. (And VP Biden's security entourage kept us all captives for the afternoon, blocking the roads around Westlake for his visit).

We had a few penetration leaks in the attic around the roof vents during last week's storm. We were supposed to have roofers coming next week to fix them. The guys, instead, showed up at the crack of dawn yesterday and were on the roof working when we walked outside to see what was making so much noise. They didn't even ring the doorbell.
They said they wanted to get the vents fixed before the storm hit. Wow! They worked in the drizzle all morning. We were amazed and very grateful.
