Love the Iris reticulata, thats one of the spring bulbs I want to add. So far I have never tried them.

My crocus are blooming but I am embarraseed to say that I have never ever taken a picture of them. I take pictures of just about everything in the garden but never of the crocus!

This fall I want to get crocus and add more to the garden. I haven't added any in years. In fact yesterday I was looking at the confusing, to me, array of crocus available at Brent and Beckies Bulbs. I only ordered some orange ones there called ZWANENBURG because the color was too much to resist. But I only have ever bought the bags of mixed colors locally. So I looked around and did some web research to find that what I really want is some of the early ones (Chrysanthus) because I don't have them and more of the large Dutch flowering ones, which is what I had bought.

So I will wait and get some mixes from Van Engelen when they update and I can order for the fall. With get the little iris there too.
