I ended up planting most of them as I cleared both of the areas on each side of the backside of the house.
*That was as clear as mud.*
I treated the one side for slugs (and hopefully more) which was not the side where I planted the Sedums.
They actually are still looking half way decent.
When I go out to check on them after work I gently shake the flower tops to give the seeds a bit of a boost in planting themselves, hopefully I'll see some success next summer from doing this.

A friend of mine emailed that pic to me, she stated that she'd found/gotten it on the net and that it was in MI.
After I read your post I Googled "Pictured Rocks" and found the exact same image.
I hope it's not copyrighted or I am in BIG trouble.
It's probably time to change my avatar soon anyway.
It is indeed a beautiful photo, I love it.
