Well sense it is so hot here I have to have everything planted by the first of May and even still I will be stuck watering everyday. I have better success planting in the fall because I do not have to water them. I water one time usually and that is it, they always come back except for a few that rot. I would say 95% of them come back.
To me potting is just easier because I do not have to be on my knees as much plus I work a lot so potting is also more convenient, I have a big potting table in my garage and a huge trash can full of soil-less potting mix, also I have ten gal. paint buckets with mulch, alfalfa. Milorganite, sand, fertilizer, and mushroom compost so I can mix it anyway and anytime, got lights, heater, and even a radio. Life is good.....
They can live in the pots till I find an opportunity to plant them. I need a nice day, not raining, not tired, and be off at the same time. What are the chances of that happening?
Maybe I just like pots and do not want to admit it, the pot ghetto seems to be normal for me.
I just looked up 'wippersnapper' .
