I grow Penstemon Red Riding Hood. It is three years old. It is red. They didn't have the different color Riding Hoods back then. Mine is a trooper! Blooms ALL summer long and into the fall. Still blooming now even after lots of hard frosts. Also the plant gets large for me and I divide it for other areas of my garden. Early this fall I bought two of the new colors on closeout at Lowe's or Home Depot. Can't wait to see them in spring

Wow, great to hear about Red Riding Hood!! I will do the same when mine gets big, I love those blooming machines and in a small city lot all plants have to earn their keep. Sounds like RRH will be a keeper. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29
