I am always saddened to hear about scale problems on the Gerberaras I given away. I've never had any on mama. Perhaps because she lives away from the crowd, on my porch, where the air is always moving? I did lose a couple of new growths to rot though, and had a lot of buds blast during the cold, foggy weather.
