My only experience with seed is from the annual Lupines. While I tried those last summer I am sure it was too late in the year and already hot. So they came up but never bloomed and just kind of sat there until I pulled them out. I sowed some this year already but they haven't come up yet.

I had never seen potted Lupines before I found them at this one particular out of the way (for me) nursery that I usually only visit once or twice a year in the spring. I tell you they were just so absolutely stunning that if they don't come up (not looking like they are going to) I will try again.
