MaryAnn (and everyone ,for that matter) you should go to the HIPS website, and in the Library Section( just in the "visitor" area, you don't need to join to see it) under the "articles", there are 2 concerned with iris I.D. Yhey stress the importance of pbf, rhizome shape, leaf size, etc. in identifying iris cultivars. You should check out the entire "visitors" area, lots and lots of interesting reading there!
