Ooooh.........so glad I caught up to you all again.

Wanted say I also got zinnia seed from Daniel, WS'd them and they are gorgeous!! Except for the recent onslaught of the first Japanese Beetles............... Those WS'd zinnias are the hardiest I have every had.

Also WS'd larkspur, cosmos, and lemon gem marigolds which are becoming some of my fav annuals. The lemon gems are actually beautifully mounded and have a lemony, rather than regular, marigold scent. Last year I put in some tangerine gems but they were not nearly as sturdy. I would totally recommend the lemon gem as very very hardy and easy to WS in this zone.

Also all my nasturtiums, various colors are just gorgeous. I am most impressed with the cosmos (a double dark pink). The plants almost look like little trees-their stems are so large and sturdy. Though I was a total sceptic back in Feb., I now compare the hardiness of my WS plants with greenhouse starts and they win, hands down. Living on a lakefront, the wind that comes in is very intense and none of WS annuals have broken (knock on wood, yet................. Hilarious! )

WIll post pics as soon as I can get my digital card to download---technology issues............. Confused and, maybe age?? Hilarious!
