I have done both seeds and plants.
I have two small plants in the garden now that were last years winter sown babies. They never bloomed last year and are getting a slow start this year. I was surprised they survived the winter.
I have purchased plants but they almost never over winter for me.
Some one told me it is probably crown rot ...I was wondering if covering the crown with a small plastic cup over the winter would help?
..a balanced life is worth pursuit.
