Hi Susan,

It seems like the worms multiply until they fill the bin with the right population and then they seem to maintain that level of population. So you can keep it as it is and it should be just fine, or you can divide the bin into two bins. In this way you can increase the population and have worms to share with your neighbors and local friends. You're going to love worm composting! I've introduced dozens of locals to it and it's now all the rage in our local county. Smiling
