I bought some hybrid seeds from a seller that had the pod parent listed that is one that she is going to release in 2014. It's named and registered, but few details on it's release. Instead, I bought some of her seeds which was crossed with her intro and another cultivar (I was interested in) and I am excited to see what the hybrid seeds produce. I have a strong hunch it will produce some really lovely blooms!
I think I am a hybrid junkie and a seed junkie .... put those 2 obsessions together and ....seriously ..... with the generosity of a few gardeners here and the LA .... I am in Heaven! Talk about a kid in a candy store .... ooooohhhh baby!!! I don't know what it is, but I love growing plants from seeds and especially if they are hybrids! I absolutely love making my own crosses! It started out as an affordable way for me to get some nice plants, but has since become my gardening style. My garden plants have to grow from seeds, cuttings, or starts. Living in FL helps that obsession along as seeds often grow to bloom in the first or second year for most that I grow. My family, neighbors, and friends think I spend a fortune on my garden areas. If they only knew .... most of them don't garden and those that do ... don't have the patience to grow from seeds. Patience is a virtue ... absolutely!!
