Yes, they did transplant OK the transplanted ones stayed shorter , but that happens with most of the annuals I transplant.
As for drought -tolerant I can not say we have had more than normal rain this summer , however I do not water them, so maybe.
I would be glad to send some seeds your way/ of course some may have yellow edges like in the picture. I only collect seeds from the reds but the others always seem to make a show.
..a balanced life is worth pursuit.
