Great article and it is a really good plant! I might add that the blooming period can vary. One source of info I have says May to November in the Hill Country, another says October to November. Here mid-September to November is usual, but on occasion, I'll see a bit of light summer blooming. This year, it just barely started back in mid-October and two plants are still blooming a little, even after two high-20's freezes.
