Forgot to say, I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving! We left here early Thursday morning for Tennessee to pick up our new pup and then we drove back on Friday ... a very long trip but we were glad to get back. There was thick ice in the motel parking lot Friday morning and ice on my husbands truck. I think the temp was @ 22ยบ!! The trip was well worth it though because we love our new buddy! He's a big boy, 7 months old and 70 lbs. He is very well behaved for the most part but it's sorta like having a 2 year old child in the house with sometimes constant reinforcing of the rules, LOL. He's already trained for sit, down and my favorite - "leave it" which I've sounded like a broken record saying the past few days. He wants to eat cypress mulch from the flower beds, he wants to eat my shoes and has tried to steal dirty laundry as I was doing the wash this morning. His name was Jep but the breeder said they never really used the names with the puppies because they figured their new owners would want to name them. We called him Jep/Jeppers to no avail, he just never responded so yesterday morning my husband began calling him Bo and he answered to it every time ... so Bo it is. It's short for Boeing (the aircraft manufacturer) - my husband teaches in the aviation field.
I changed my profile pic to one of him but I will share just one more photo so as not to get us sent to the sandbox. This is "Bo" on the love seat that he's claimed for his own; a relative commented that he matches the decor.
