I also like to use winter to organize pictures and update files. I also do a lot of shopping in winter. I have more time and I like to look everything up, I like researching plants. Also when I gather all my information I can add it to the database and in spring all I have to do is take pictures, no surprises like, 'NOT FOUND'. From the time I purchase or win a plant on LA, I will check the database and add it to my list. This is how I am keeping track of my plants, it is free and it is easy. Also in most cases there is already a picture that I can drool over till mine blooms.
Also you can add your own categories and make them public or private. The list can be used for selling or trading plants, you can add notes or comments. I like to put who I purchased from or traded with.
