Deb, it sounds like you've done it and it's now a file in some folder on your computer. If you open the file again in the paint/photo program, see if there's an option in the file menu to 'save as.' That should pop up the little save window which will show you where the file is on your computer (then you can click cancel.) If you have a newer version of Windows, it's probably in the documents folder, or 'my pictures.' When you click "upload an image" on here, you just need to find the right folder to the left, then choose the file on the right. At the top of the window should be an icon or menu to change the files into pics (icons) if you're having trouble knowing which file it is. If not, sorting by date should help you know, it's the newest one. Your pic program will probably put any new screenshot files you make in the same folder, so once you find it, you'll know where to look in the future.
