It was 46 degree's today at 1pm, i should have kept my mouth shut about our warm temp's.
How about sedum 'john creech',do they die back like the others have so far.Usually my yard doesn't have leaves every where this time of the year but i don't know what the difference would be if they weren't covered with leaves?? So is it good for them or should they die back every winter to stay healthy??
Our entire yard needs amending just to grow grass,i have sand.We have been mulching the leaves with a riding mower for the last few years.I hope mulching them will make them break down & decay quicker.
That is one way to amend the soil & not have to rake sooo much every year
.I just keep the rock garden cleaned out,rake out from under other things like black pussy willow,hibiscus,lantana,etc... keeps hubby from mowing the plants he can't see after i cut them back.I would like to get some opinions on the sedum stump?? Clean it off or leave it covered with leaves.The sarmentosa will probably die on back & what do i need to do with the 'john creech' & it's not a sedum but while on the subject, do ice plants die back & go dormant in the winter? Should i cover or clean them off.

I have missed everyone and i just finished downloading the last memory card of pictures that Mitchell took for me.He can work my camera and do the basic's on my laptop. I didn't trust him to sort my pictures correctly.I must say with what he took and the ones i've taken lately that was a lot of pictures,now they need labeling!!
I told Mitchell what plants to keep cleaned up & keep the leaves off as much as he could.I must say he did a great job!!
