Here it is looking back from the other side you can see my empty space just waiting to be formalized.
To the left you can just see the edge of the Veggie Garden.
We have been making some plans for the formal garden and last fall we planted a row of small varigated Box Woods right down the edge of the Veggie Garden. Eventually they will make a low wall between the Secret Garden and the Veggie Garden. There will be some type of trellis built for on the side of the house for a Climbing Hydrangea and two new arbors are going to be built this spring one will replace the old gate into the dog yard and planted with Clematis and Roses. The other arbor will be part of the low box wood wall providing entrance between the Veggie Garden and the Secret Garden. That will be planted with some type of vining vegetables not sure quite what. Not entirely sure what else will go into this area but some type of water feature maybe just a fountain. It is Ric's project and although I am giving suggestions it is really his baby.
