Hi David,
I'm ashamed to say that I don't know, but I'll try to find out.
I do know that he did a few other houses scattered on corner lots in this old neighborhood, circa '30's-40's (they are all bigger, and much more impressive things: two story/flat tops/balconies/white stucco/great curves/hard lines/glass and metal). It was part of the "Art Moderne" or "streamline moderne" thing going on at the time. This particular house had a rough and sordid history with its previous occupants. At some point it got 'sided' and painted white and was then abandoned for some number of years. Bad things happened (roof caved in thru the first floor into basement, etc.) and much discussion occurred about condemnation, but because the famous architect guy designed the house, the city left it to rot in on itself...
The yard was in no better shape--a jungle of siberian elm, thickets of chokecherry and tree-of-heaven (or hell, depending on your perspective), thistles, morning glory, goats head, pigweeds of every variety, and some desert grasses and other desert weeds because this here is a high desert on the side of a rocky mountain. I'm very much still 'working' on all of it.
I did find a few things to salvage (iris, lilacs, and semps--not surprising, and one rose--amazing) I had a really huge (60') spruce tree in the front yard (where I made my first 'shade' garden) then it blew down in a horrific windstorm (and became the frying pan garden). But I digress...
