I started to give an update on my sedums from Greg, until i realized nobody knew about the package he had so nicely sent me.The pots were carefully placed in seperate paper bags and put snuggly into a box with balled up paper between the bags snuggly holding them in place.

I must say that they should have arrived here in perfect shape but it seems between him & me the box was used to maybe play foot ball. The box had to have been tossed around a whole lot,i opened the bags & there was soil & pieces of sedum in the bottom of the bags and some how the plants were buried almost half way down in the soil.

I dumped out all pots, carefully picking out all the sedum,i was going to just put them out to reroot but it started raining anyway i put them in a large pot so they can just root again on their own.I have them inside so i can control the water & the environment completely.

Can i have some opinions & advice on what i have done with them.I used such a large container so it's like they are out on the ground & being allowed to root themselves. The pot is only half full & it's the same soil that's in my rock garden except outside there's a lot of pea gravel.

I'm keeping them in as much sun as i can & only misting with water when dries out.I can see new little white roots popping out all over.I am hoping that next season i will be able to just transplant them from the pot to the garden just as they are!!
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
